Fr Guy explores the relationship between Christ and his Church. In this first talk he looks at what Christ gives to the Church using the image of St Paul as Christ as the Bridegroom and the Church as the Bride:‘Christ loved the Church and sacrificed himself for her to make her holy. He made her clean by the washing of water with a form of words, so that when he took her to himself she would be glorious….’ Ephesians 5: 25-27. Christ is her Saviour, her Teacher, her Model.
