St Luke Chapter 7 “As he approached the gate of the town, a man who had died was being carried out. He was his mother’s only son and she was a widow. When the Lord saw her he had compassion for her and he said, ‘Do not weep’. Then he came forward and touch the bier and the bearers stood still. And he said, ‘Young man, I say to you, arise!’ The dead man sat up and began to speak and Jesus gave him to his mother.”
St John Chapter 5. “One man there had been ill for 38 years. When Jesus saw him lying there, he said to him, ‘Do you want to be made well?’ The sick man answered him, ‘Sir, I have no-one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up. While I am making my way someone else steps down ahead of me.’ Jesus said to him, ‘Stand up, take up your mat and walk.’ At once the man was made well.”
St Matthew Chapter 15 “But she came and knelt before him saying, ‘Lord, help me.’ He answered, ‘It is not fair to take the children’s food and throw it to the dogs.’ She said, ‘Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table’. Then Jesus answered her, ‘Woman, great is your faith. Let it be done for you as you wish’. And her daughter was healed instantly.”
St Mark Chapter 7 “Taking him aside privately, Jesus put his fingers into his ears and he spat and tuched his tongue and looking up to heaven, he sighed and said to him, ‘Ephapha’, that is, ‘Be Opened!’ and his ears were opened, his tongue was released and he spoke plainly.”
St Luke Chapter 8 “When he saw Jesus he cried out and fell down before him and said with a loud voice ‘What have you to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most high God? I beg you, do not torment me.’ For Jesus had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of him.”
St Mark Chapter 2 “And, when they could not get near Jesus because of the crowd, they removed the roof above him and when they had made an opening they let down the pallet on which the paralytic lay. And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, ‘Child, your sins are forgiven'”.
