‘Peter at Pentecost’  – first heard at the great night/dawn Pentecost celebration at Buckfast Abbey two years ago –

before the final blessing. If you would like to read this poem please click here

The Rosary by Fr Robbie Low 18 – The Descent of the Holy Spirit

1virgin-of-the-rosary-artwork-for-podcast8. The Descent of the Holy Spirit – the Third Glorious Mystery of the rosary. “When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place and suddenly a sound came from heaven like a rush of a mighty wind that filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributed and resting on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.” Acts 2:1-4.

Fr Robbie Low leads a daily meditation and one decade of the rosary in this month of October dedicated to the Holy Rosary. Scripture readings are by Gabrielle O’Connor.
