2030-2051. The Church is Mother and Teacher. From the Church the Christian receives the Word of God containing the teachings of the ‘law of Christ’ (Galatians 6:2). From the Church he receives the grace of the sacraments to sustain him on the way. From the Church he learns the example of holiness and recognizes its model in the all-holy Virgin Mary (2030). 1749 – 1761. The sources of morality – the object, the intention and the circumstances. The object of an act is either morally right, neutral, or wrong. A wrong act cannot be made right by intention or circumstances, however intention and/or circumstances can turn a right or neutral object into a wrong one. Right and wrong v. good and bad. An objectively wrong act is one contrary to the 10 commandments.
