A voice cries in the wilderness, prepare the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God….” Advent is a time when the people of God long for our Jerusalem, our heavenly home, a liberation from sin, suffering and death, the final triumph of righteousness we are promised in Jesus Christ.
