Creation and Fall, Virtue and Beatitude 3: The Virtues by Fr Guy de Gaynesford

Find me in iTunes‘God, infinitely perfect and blessed in himself, in a plan of sheer goodness freely created man to make him share in his own blessed life’ (CCC 1).  With this very first sentence the Catechism beautifully summarises our vocation to the blessed life with God.  The virtues are the working out in us of the grace of God in a practical way. Classically these have been described as the cardinal virtues of prudence, justice, fortitude and temperance.  In addition, the theological virtues of faith, hope and charity perfect the life of God with us.
