1749 – 1761. The sources of morality – the object, the intention and the circumstances. The object of an act is either morally right, neutral, or wrong. A wrong act cannot be made right by intention or circumstances, however intention and/or circumstances can turn a right or neutral object into a wrong one.  Right and wrong v. good and bad.   An objectively wrong act is one contrary to the 10 commandments.
